Press Release Body = Lille (France) - December 7, 2005 - IT.Omics, provider of the
LS-Graph® network analysis software, and OmniViz, Inc., a leading provider of
software and components for visual mining of complex data, announced a
collaboration during the European Biotech Crossroads meeting last week. The
collaboration aims to increase creativity and efficiency in the drug development
process through a tighter coupling of advanced visualization and analysis of
experimental data with knowledge-based data mining and the building of systems
biology networks.

IT.Omics' LS-Graph® technology consists of automated information extraction for the
generation of global knowledge graphs from various sources, with a coverage and
flexibility beyond that of standard curated databases. Providing critical insight
into regulatory mechanisms, the resulting networks help researchers focus on high
value-added targets as well as better understand mechanisms of action and side
effects.

The OmniViz® software provides unique high-level visualization of multi-dimensional
data enabling researchers to better characterize their results, discover novel
relationships, and test emerging hypotheses. Typical sources of input include
biological and chemical experimental data, toxicology results, clinical trial and
marketing information, as well as the global biomedical and patent literature.

"Enabling users of LS-Graph® to seamlessly couple into the unique OmniViz
visualization and mining software will expand the scope of LS-Graph and provide a
framework that supports rapid and more efficient decision-making," said Emmanuel
Jospin, CEO of IT.Omics. "The extensive knowledge extraction and analysis
represented by LS-Graph® provides a synergistic framework for the interpretation of
relationships observed in OmniViz® visualizations," said Jeffrey D. Saffer,
President of OmniViz, Inc.
